We have a great PreK at Carver. Check out this video that the PreK staff created to inform you about all the wonderful things they do for our three and four year olds!

We found out today that our EAST students won the EAST Cornerstone award for Student Growth and Engagement. According to the video this award “recognizes an EAST program that exemplifies student and program growth in various areas. The winning program provides a positive environment, promotes individual growth, empowers students to find their passion, and motivates them to learn and progress. Although often difficult to measure, true student growth and engagement is the strongest demonstration of EAST principles.”

The other finalists for this award were Kiamichi Technology Centers at Eufaula High School, Kiamichi Technology Centers at Poteau, and McCrory High School.

EAST described our program as taking our “students’ passion for helping others and mixed in new and challenging technologies to develop confidence, troubleshooting abilities, and perseverance. Strategic community connections through projects, pride, and technical skills. This program succeeded in not only growing engagement in EAST students but there school as a whole.

We are very excited about winning this award and we want to thank the entire EAST community for all of your support. Thank you!

Check out the announcement video below. You can see our win at the 26:10 mark!
