Mrs. Corrigan’s second graders completed a special project where they were able to apply what they have learned about land and water on Earth. For their final project, students created a 3D model to represent shapes of landforms and bodies of water on an imaginary island. After planning the basic shape of their island, students added different bodies of water and landforms. The students made and used dough to create their models. After some drying time, students were able to paint their models, adding labels that identifying the different landforms and bodies of water. The students worked hard these past few weeks and did an OUTSTANDING job! Thank you Mrs. Shields for all your work in the Science Lab to help our students grow.

Our third grade students left early this morning to visit Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville. While there, they bumped into Governor Asa Hutchinson. They had a great time and enjoyed meeting the Governor of Arkansas.

Yorisi traveled to the theater today to watch "Dolittle" as a reward for earning the most house points for the second nine weeks. Congratulations to Yorisi. Who will win the third nine weeks?
